Tetairoa McMillan, or “TMAC” as he is more commonly known, is poised to take the nation by storm after a stellar true freshman campaign that saw him affirm his status as one of the nation’s top recruits.
He flashed his athletic potential throughout high school as a three-sport athlete competing in football, basketball and volleyball, all while rising up the recruiting rankings.
TMAC first entered into the national spotlight as a sophomore at Servite High School where he posted 65 catches for 851 yards and 12 touchdowns, while helping his school earn a CIF Southern Section Division I playoff berth. Continuously improving throughout the course of his high school career, he solidified his status as the nation’s No. 37 overall recruit (247 Sports) by posting 88 catches for 1302 yards and 18 touchdowns in his senior season. McMillan parlayed his athletic success into a plethora of accomplishments being named the 2021 Polynesian High School Football Player of the Year, the 2022 Gatorade California Player of the Year, as well as being selected to participate in the highly renowned Polynesian Bowl and All-American Bowl.
After proving himself to be one of the most sought after receiver prospects in the nation, TMAC committed to the University of Arizona becoming the highest ranked recruit in program history. He started off his freshman year strong earning Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors on October 3rd, 2022 posting 5 catches for 90 yards and a touchdown as well as on October 17th, 2022 with 7 receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns. McMillan finished off the year leading all true freshmen nationwide with 39 catches for 702 yards and eight touchdowns while also setting a Wildcat record for the most receiving yards by a true freshman.
